I figured it was high time to tell everyone what I am up to. I am doing a documentary for university. Its about how volcano erruptions affect health. Its a pretty big project involving a lot of components and Im using movie making software, Sims 3 ( no one has time to do acting and im feeling quite Kakuzu-ish about buying a large roll of bright green or blue cloth for the chroma keying part.
I also had to deal with lot of mini-exams last week and I've been reading up a lot for university. Medicine is serious business.
On my creative front, MoR is doing well. Pharmacology is doing wonders for research material and Im slowly making progress with the chapter. The first half of it looks halfway decent now! I still feel uncertain about how to portray Sakura, however. I have difficulties with characters that are mostly 'pure stereotypes'. Naruto does not lack tsundere women and, in fact, I think almost all of the support female roles (bar Hinata) are somewhat tsundere. Ino isn't going to play any major role in MoR, tbh, but I've done work on her and all the support females as well. She is a bit easier, as she is mostly easy for me to work with. Her character has well defined roots. Ten-ten is a bit shallow, but given her low screen time its no wonder. I have yet to fully decide what to do with her, but I hope im hit with some inspiration soon, since she's a weapons' expert and resembles what a true ninja/kunoichi would look like in modern days. Hannabi would be cautious, calculating and most of all, a true Hyuuga. She is still young, and most people rarely take into account one's age. Lond story short, I have to create some sort of diversity from literaly no material at all.
And why am I having problems with Sakura again? She's pretty much an image girl. Its hard for her, if not damn right impossible at this point to comprehend Sasuke and Naruto's friendship. The two of them fit quite well together fightwise as well and if Sakura herself was even halfway the decent support she was in Shippuuden, they would've been the top team of Konoha in literaly no time. Then we have Kakashi, who, being the awesome, cool, hip and yet incredibly aggravating person that he is, would totally throw off their already built in dynamics. A team is made of four, not of two. This time animosity/rivalry is not the problem with team 7. Sasuke feels that Naruto is the only teammate he can work with and does not waste time on Sakura and even Kakashi. Given his tendency with obsessing over something, his Uchiha pride and lets not forget his over-confidence.... lets just say Kakashi will have to break the team to make the team.
Since Hinata stays with her original team she feels extremely vulnerable outside of Sasuke and Naruto's company. It's like having the comfort of a hot bubble bath after a hard working day out in a cold snowy day and then suddenly getting thrown out in the woods.
I think that the way things would go with the missions would be interesting as well. Integration is the key word here.
If you try to imagine the big picture with all the little pieces, it's starting to get complicated, isn't it? I havent even said anything about Kakashi's relationships with the OCs. I just want you all to remember this: Kakashi is a prodigy. He is elligible to be a Hokage, he was trained by a prodigy, his father was probably also prodigious, given the revelry with which other ninja villages speak of him. And to top it all off, Kakashi was in ANBU. He practically breaths conspiracies like most of us eat our cereal in front of the TV every morning.
Well, that's about it, I think. I hope I;ve been helpful for those who are following me and my stuff.
